I have a 200 watt amp pushing mine. Works and sounds great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't classify these as "powerful" speakers. They have great sound for the price. However, if you over power them, the sound will distort. (I'm not discounting the sound -- they sound fantastic). I've had these connected to the cheapest Sherwood receiver I could find (so they weren't connected to my main receiver) -- and I've had them connected to Zone 2 of my Onkyo receiver. Both sound good. Hopefully this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The speakers need an amplifier up to 100 Watts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am running a stereo receiver that's rated at 80w/ch. using both speaker A & B outputs.i have no problem filling the yard with sound. Of course, it depends on the size of your yard. I'm working with a 1/4 acre lot. I would say anything north of 50w/ch would be more than adequate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.at least 50 watts per channel, if it's a 2 channel amp, or 25 watt/channel if it's a 4 channel amp.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The insignia NS-STR514 receiver from BestBuy. Works Great. I have it powering this same pair of Insignia rock speakers and a pair of Bose 151 outdoor speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i have four hooked up but my receiver has the built in input for them i would think 200 watts would be more than sufficient
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you wont need much mabye 30 watts /ch
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They will sound good right of your reciever
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need a ton of power to drive these speakers, as they are rated @ 25 watts RMS per speaker. If you're planning on hooking all 4 speakers up to the same amp/receiver/channel, your bigger concern would be to ensure it's stable at 4 ohms.
