These speakers are already 8 ohms, but u shouldn't need 4, they are very loud. If you do decide to hook up 4, see if your receiver is 4 ohm stable if it is it should be fine. But I have two and they are very loud.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Use banana plugs. The main volume on receiver controls all 4 speakers equally.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can hook 2 speakers in parallel. If you do it in series you will get 1/2 the volume. Most systems don't care if you hook 4 ohm or 8 ohm speakers up. If you are going to use electronic volume controls you need to consult the manufacturer as they may be very specific about the resistive load.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 2 speakers on 2 separate inline outdoor volume controls (8Ohm Rcvr). 2 are on the one end my pool and 2 on the other end. I wanted the ability to control the volume outside and have separate volume at different ends of the pool.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes we have 6 of these speakers hooked up. The volume control depends on the receiver and or switch you have.
