This is a great choice and includes some really cool features that everyone can enjoy. You do not have to use the Stingray Music App with your machine. You may use any music platform you choose via the bluetooth technology on the machine. We have (2) versions of the Groove Cube XL. Model #STVG782 uses an RCA connection to the TV. Model #STVG784 uses an HDMI connection to the TV. We hope this information is helpful to you.
