This is a great choice and includes some really features. It also comes with our Singing Machine Karaoke App (Subscription Required) along with popular music apps that all can enjoy. To answer your question, this machine does not include rechargeable battery. The AC Adapter aka power cord is required to enjoy this machine. We hope we have answered your question.
