I believe that you do not have to have bought a subwoofer from Best Buy to have it installed by their Geek Squad. And you can pay for the installation plus any other parts needed to complete the system (wires, amplifiers, etc.). I had the Total Tech Package ($199/ year) that I bought before so it covered the installation cost. I just paid extra for the other parts from Best Buy.
