you can use any music station such as YouTube, the radio, cd's, Alexa, to play the music you want. I found YouTube has lots of the songs I wanted to sing with only the music and lyrics. This machine is used as a speaker for your voice to the music you are playing. It does have lights, sound effects and you can change up the sound of your singing voice to sound like an echo, sound really deep or as high as the chipmunks!
