What this adapter does is it receives the FM frequency that the xm/Sirius receiver is broadcasting to the antenna adapter instead of your normal antenna which sometimes has interference from other stations(SiriusXM fading in and out when we are driving).You still need to subscribe to SiriusXM or your receiver won’t be activated.
