This FM Direct Adapter is made to work with Sirius docking stations only. It looks like you need to purchase a "SiriusXM - Connect Satellite Radio Vehicle Tuner - Black", available at Best Buy, plug it into the back of your Kenwood head unit, mount your antenna and you're done.
