It mounts between a SiriusXM radio and the antenna. To use it you tune your head unit to one of the preprogrammed FM stations in your SiriusXM tuner and your radio to the same station on your head unit, not by using the SiriusXM button on the head unit. If your stereo is XM ready a vehicle tuner may be the way to go. My head unit isn’t XM ready and I also use the XM radio in the boom box accessory.
