The home antenna is for use with the Sirius docking station. I am unaware of any other applications. I purchased it so that if I desired to take my "docker" outside, I wouldn't have to dismantle the antenna I have secured from a window to the unit. They do have something that will allow you to connect your Sirius auto radio to a stereo system in your house. You can find most of what you need to know by opening up Sirius and going to accessories. Other than that, call Sirius for tech support.
