“What (technically speaking) is included in the "Home Kit" and what is included in the "Car Kit"? Will Sirius allow me to Transfer my current subscription from my Auto Radio to this Onyx Radio since I don't use my Auto much anymore?”

We had ours installed by Best Buy so I’m not sure what is in the kit. We did transfer the service to the new car. We’re very happy with it!

But if you have a current radio built in to to your car that has SiriusXM, that has a subscription, yes, you can transfer it to a new radio, like the Onyx EZR. There is a $15 activation fee for this new radio. But the one you've selected here, the one with a home kit, would be used in you home. You can also buy an additional vehicle kit, SXDV3, you could also get if you want to listen in your car periodically. Under the Overview and Specifications, it lists all the kit contents and there is a link to the quick start guide.
