The Onyz EZR is a pure satellite radio receiver so it will require its own satellite subscription which can be added to your companion plan. As a satellite radio is receives audio from the satellites and is completely off line so no need for Internet but it does require a satellite subscription. Note: your existing plan might already include a streaming subscription which would allow you to use a streaming device at home for streaming on your Smart TV or Smart Speakers such as SONOS. That being said, the Onyx EZR does not support Bluetooth.
