“I want to change the preset channels from what I originally locked in. After going to the new channel I want, I would then hit the preset number I want for it but the radio goes back to the original channel.”

tune to the new channel that you would like to store. Press and Hold the preset number you want for 2-3 seconds and the preset will update to the new channel.
