I have a SiriusXM subscription in my two vehicles and recently purchased an Onyx Plus Home Kit satellite receiver to attach to my vintage Technics stereo system for home use. Simplest way to make it work for me was to add the home kit receiver to my existing XM account. Not sure if this helps.
