The Roady BT is designed to only be used in a vehicle. We have other Satellite radios such as the Onyx EZR model # SXEZR1H1 that are suitable for use indoors. But it is important to keep in mind that all satellite radios have satellite antennas which need to have a clear view of the southern sky. Many windows and especially work windows have metalized coatings or metal bug screens that will completely block the satellite signal so these antennas work best when placed outdoors. Radios such as the Onyx EZR with home kit do not need WiFi nor Bluetooth and will work fine with just an AC outlet and access to the outside for the antenna.
