This appears to be a common problem. I had to return this product 3 times before I received the combination that worked properly. I enjoyed very good reception for 1 year. Now the home dock is giving me troubles. I have one radio which I switch to the car and have not had any problems in the car. I thought that maybe the home antenna so I replaced it and had the same problem of the unit silencing itself. The home dock combination has not been moved from its original location; but, signal strength drops from 3 to 1 bar and then goes silent. I contacted Sirius and was advised to take it to a radio repair shop for diagnostics in order to determine what is causing problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check the connection between the radio and the dock for this problem, make sure it is seated well onto the connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We are having the same issue. This is our second one. I love it when it works. Not sure why this happens and why they don't find a way to resolve this. So frustrating
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I drive a truck and i had an issue with the unit saying the same thing.i really didn't give it a thought at the time but it was in the cable going to the antenna mounted on the mirror.i changed the cable and that solved the issue.currently,in alot of areas, one or two channels on terrestrial radio and I'd pull my hair out.I've had satellite radio since 2003,bang my head every day.love it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I'm taking my second unit back for a return or refund. There is a problem with this unit. I have the same error msg and the unit will not receive a signal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, I purchased the sd2 Sirius radio combo from best buy for home, I also purchased an additional dock for work. The dock at work never gets moved and has never given me any trouble, but the one at home sits in my entertainment center and works fine except the 0ne time I tried to take it outside. I plugged it in and it gave the antenna damaged or disconnected message. I took it back to best buy and they gave me another dock assembly. I put it in the entertainment center, and it worked great. I tried moving it to the deck yesterday and plugged it in and got the same error message. I took it back today and they gave me a third dock and said there are no issues. If this one doesn't work, I told them I want my money back!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same problem. The radio and antenna work fine, but on some occasions when I change from one station to another using the saved channel buttons, I lose the signal and the antenna is broke. I have gone through three antenna, and I'm about to bring the unit back to Best Buy now that I see this is evidently a common problem.Keyser
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have 3 boom boxes and 4 portable receivers, and can't get any of them to work. I get messages like check antenna connection or no antenna connection, I don't know if the problem is with the antennas or the boom boxes, wish I knew.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You wan to have the antenna free from obstruction but it may be where you are located and if you're running off of the satellite or a terrestrial repeater.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
