This is expectable to me. I don't walk around with this it's stationary, so it doesn't bother me. When I do move it, it works perfectly fine. I saved 25 dollars buying it like this and its worth the savings. Box has awesome sound. Now if they can just figure out how to generate a stronger signal so the portables can be used inside homes it make would make it a worth while purchase.
