QuestionI have a Scion Pioneer T1808 car stereo. Will this satellite antenna work for my car radio?

- Answer No, the T1808 is a SAT Ready head unit so it requires a much older obsolete satellite tuner. However, the T1808 has an Aux input so your Scion may have a 3.5mm (1/8in) Aux in socket somewhere on your dash or in the glove box. If your vehicle has this Aux input then you can use a Satellite radio such as Roady BT or Onyx EZR which support Aux output as an alternate solution.

- Answer most likely as Satellite radio ready is for Sirius XM. You will likely need cable or adapter from the tuner to the back of your radio.

- Answer As far as I know just the head unit (radio). I put one in 07 ram and 2015 Jeep. As long as the head unit you get is SiriusXM ready you should be fine. Works great. Howard 100 and 101

- Answer I just swapped the radio in my 2016 JKU Sahara. I had to buy an adapter for $10 that allowed me to use the factory antenna. If you’ve got a factory system with satellite radio, you don’t need this. This device is only for aftermarket satellite ready receivers. If you haven’t swapped radios yet, check out the Pioneer 1330NEX. Older model so it’s cheaper than the newer 1550NEX. This device works with it and in the Jeep, the 1550NEX harness is a perfect match. Add the pioneer backup camera and you’ve got a great system. I know my Alpine factory system is 10x louder and crisper with the Pioneer. Can’t believe the sound quality.

- Answer I used an Shakespeare Galaxy SRA-50 which is an outdoor Sirus XM satellite antenna which works great. I didn’t use the antenna that came with the Sirus tuner. This SRA-50 antenna plugs right in and is very sleek, ultra low-profile ( looks like a white mushroom but bigger) but looks great. I’m sure there are other antennas, but I have been always happy with Shakespeare. Hope this helps. Bill

- Answer Not sure. I bought a new Sony stereo that was satellite receiver ready meaning on the back of it there were plugins for my new Sirius receiver. So you would have to look on the back of the receiver and see if you have your hookups. This way I was able to hide the receiver behind the dash you see no chords you see no receiver all you see is my new stereo in the dash so the Sirius receiver doesn't Mount anywhere it just goes behind the stereo in inside the dashboard which I thought was really awesome. Eliminating all the wiring love it. Hope this helps

- Answer If it is a factory radio, you will need to go to the dealer for the one that is made for your vehicle. Otherwise, you will need to put a different radio in it. Depending on the quality of the factory stereo, you might want to bite the bullet and put the factory one in. Good luck.

- Answer If your Honda already has SiriusXM compatibility (SAT button on the receiver), you most likely just need to purchase a subscription from SiriusXM. If you have an aftermarket stereo, then if it is "SAT Ready" you just need to purchase the equipment and set up an install date.

QuestionIs this needed for Sirius XM to work in the stereo I just had the geek squad install?I had the geek squad installed a Kenwood Model: DPX501BT- Sterio that is Satellite Radio-Ready - Do I need this for the Sirius XM-Ready Receivers to work? - Answer You use the same Sirius account but have different tuners (registered numbers) for each individual vehicle which also require their own subscriptions. Sirius does have deals to have multiple vehicles.
