It sounds like you have an OEM stereo on your Fit. If the OEM is not XM satellite stereo receiver, I’m afraid that you might have to replace with an aftermarket stereo that has XM ready capability. You will then have to purchase the XM tuner attached to it. I have an Accord that has an OEM stereo but also has XM so I didn’t need a tuner. However, my other Honda I had to replace with an aftermarket stereo that has XM ready capability, purchased the XM tuner separately and now I have XM. You can check your professional installer for 2nd opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t believe it will unless your OEM stereo is XM ready. I have an Accord with OEM stereo with XM and not needing a tuner since it is built in. However, my other Honda doesn’t have and I had to replace it with an aftermarket stereo. The XM tuner that I bought has to hook up to the receiver that has XM ready capability. I hope this helps.
