This product is for adding SiriusXM reception to any vehicle head unit that is marked with "SiriusXM Ready" logo. Typically only aftermarket head units are SiriusXM ready. This tuner plugs into the back of SiriusXM ready head units and is controlled by the head unit and artist and song and channel information are all displayed on the vehicle head unit's display. This SXM Connect Tuner comes with an antenna that plugs into the tuner and the tuner itself is powered from the vehicle head unit.
