• Vais makes units that plug into the factory USB port and display through the factory display. You can also control it through the factory stereo.

• What Onyx type add ons do you mean? Do you have a DC12V to plug it in with? The Onyx XM receiver has a FM transmitter in it. It only turns on when you have the AUX cord disconnected from the receiver. Then set it to any FM channel you want and then tune your stereo to that channel.
