“I have a convertible so the antenna will be placed on the dash. I am concerned about reception thru the windshield. Anyone have experience with that type of setup? Thanks.”

Works fine for wide open areas. Some signal loss when driving on roads carved thru forests or when surrounded by semi trucks.
