  • QuestionWill this unit work in a 2024 Ford Maverick with Android Auto?

    Asked by Daveinde.

    • Answer SXV300 – SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner is designed to only work with aftermarket “SiriusXM-Ready” head units. It will not work with 2024 Ford Maverick factory audio system. For your application, I recommend you to use SiriusXM Roady BT satellite radio. Roady BT is our latest radio which offers Bluetooth capabilities. You should be able to connect Roady BT with Ford Sync head unit using Bluetooth audio connection. Please note, some Ford Sync head units are equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. If you are using the Android Auto or CarPlay then Ford head unit may not allow simultaneous connection from the other Bluetooth devices. If you are planning to use Android Auto or CarPlay simultaneously with aftermarket SiriusXM Radio, then you can use SiriusXM FM Direct Adapter (FMDA25) to establish FM connection with factory stereo. Once Roady BT (or any SXM satellite radio) is ON, it automatically disconnects the vehicle FM antenna to minimize external FM interference. FM direct adapter connects directly to FM antenna input of your factory radio. FMDA25 is sold separately and it requires professional installation. Once FMDA25 adapter is installed, you can also use any other SiriusXM dock and play radios, such as Onyx EZR, Onyx Plus, and Tour specifically designed for easy transportation between vehicles and for use both in vehicles and at home with optional vehicle or home kits. All these products are available to purchased from Best Buy or SiriusXM.

    • Answer It doesn't look like it from what I can see about the Tri-Glide. But you might want to check with HD to see if your head unit shows the "SiriusXM Ready" logo. The SXV300V1 only works with head units that display the "SiriusXM Ready" logo.

  • QuestionWill this work on my 2011 Chevy Cruze LT fleet car that has OnStar installed? If not, what device will make it work please?

    Asked by Doxiesrock.

    • Answer No the SiriusXM Connect Satellite Radio vehicle tuner will not work with your factory radio. However, If your 2011 Chevy Cruze LT supports Auxiliary input, then the Onyx EZR would be a great solution. If your Cruze supports Bluetooth then the Roady BT model #SXVRBT1 would be a great fit. If your Cruze does not support Aux-Input nor Bluetooth then either one of the two recommended radios can be connected to your factory radio's FM radio using the optional FM Direct Adapter model # FMDA25.
