“why cant I set the motion detection on a camera for over the 50% default? I go into setting to motion detection and move the bar up from 50 to say 90% then underneath is says run motion detection test. I select, and when I check camera did not set.”

In order to set the motion detection you must do it from a computer not your cell phone.

Please try again later.What you're doing is testing it to see what motion it would catch at that setting... to actually change the setting, open up Arlo on your phone, select mode, then select the pencil next to "armed", then select the pencil next to whichever camera you want to change, then select the pencil next to "detects motion", and then set it at whatever you want. And remember to save. You have to do this for each camera individually. Some of mine I couldn't set at 100 outside or they would pick up wind, rain, etc. Hopefully that helps!
