• No they are not. People have used them for the gym without issue. I have 3 headphones. These will be my number one at home listening headphones. I have another cheaper pair for the gym. These have the most bass I have ever heard in a headphone period! You can control that with the Crusher wheel that also acts as a button (20%. 50%. 80%) I can only do 50% unless its old shool hip-hop. I can crank it up on those songs and give it the bass it deserves. I recomend that you get these no matter what. Get something cheaper for the gym and running.
