• I would think this has more to do with the audio options on your tv. Usually if a Bluetooth device is connected to something, is disables the normal speakers.

• Hi I have bought this headphone a month ago and they are great to have but I think what you are asking can't do this feature.It has Bluetooth and your mother can listen to the tv if your tv has Bluetooth which I don't know.But you can't listen to the tv while she is also listening it through Bluetooth.
