- Answer These have connected to iPod, iPads, iPhones, moto X phones....usually without a problem...but, on occasion you may need to remove the Hesh2's from your listed Devices in setting's and re-search for Bluetooth devices... this will re establish your connection..it has for me every time it won't connect...

- Answer I would think this has more to do with the audio options on your ipad. Usually if a Bluetooth device is connected to something, is disables the normal speakers.
