“When you use the Bluetooth headset does it block the tv speakers. Ideally I like to listen to the tv with the headset and still have the tv sound active. Is this possible?”

Answering my own question. Yes with my Samsung TV model Un55mu6300. The TV gives you the choice of accessing multiple targets i.e. the TV speakers, or paired devices or both. The comes in handy of the TV room is noisy or if you want to walk around the house and still hear the sound without blocking the sound of the TV for others. GREAT SOUND.

Also, they are fabulously noise cancelling, and uncomfortable to wear any way except full on the ears... Thus, I do not believe these are the headphones you are looking for. :(
