“I realize these are wireless but I want to know of there is a connection port or anything to be able to use them with an older desktop. Sometimes I need to watch videos at work and dont want to have to use the on ear headphones they give us.”

There is no connection port, however you can plug in the Aluratek - Bluetooth Audio Transmitter where you would normally plug in your headset and it will transmit to your wireless set. Hope that help. The Aluratek - Bluetooth Audio Transmitter goes for just under $30.
