• I would say no I have them for my phone and sound is good, but when I speak theres a lot of times no one can hear or understand me when my phone is just on my lap.

• Yes. I use these for Zoom connected to a Macbook Pro. I can walk 20-25 feet away, around corners with walls intervening (although not closing any doors) and the audio does not drop out.
