No where on the box does it mention anything about being water resistant.

I would not recommend swimming with these let alone getting them wet!

Absolutely not. My first pair I had in my backpack while riding my motorcycle in the rain. Completely would not work afterwards. Had to submit warranty amd got a new pair within a week.
