• yes, these are compatible with iphone, ipad, etc. My kids both use them for each device to listen to pandora, spotify, iheart radio, you tube, etc.

• Yes, you can listen to movies or tv shows on your iPhone. I use these headphones with an iPhone 6 and all audio sound from the phone does play through the headphones.
