The second HDMI port is for the mother board and usually disabled by the computer's manufacturer. It's for integrated graphics which you would mostly use if you didn't have a video card. I have the same computer and have been searching for a way to add a second monitor. One site I found said it would work if you enable the iGPU in the BIOS first.
