If your daughters TV is a smartTV and the SlingPlayer app is available on it. You could get her a Roku or another streaming box that has the SlingPlayer app available. Also, this would require both of you to watch the same channel if you both were using the cablebox at the same time.

Please try again later.Not exactly... you can connect the M2 to your cable box and your daughter would need to connect some type of box such as Chromecast, Roku or Apple TV to her TV (or a smart tv with the technology built in). Once she uses the app on her iPad, iPod or other device she can "transfer" the stream to the device connected to her TV. I have successfully used the Chromecast to watch Slingbox streams as well as my Sony XBR55X850C (which has Android TV and Chromecast built in).
