The newer LG models use a fill hose instead of a reservoir. If you go to the Specifications under the product page, you should see a category called Water Source. The older models will say reservoir. The newer models will say fill hose. If it says fill hose, then you will need the steam dryer installation kit that has both the Y-shaped mixer hose and the fill hose for the steam dryer.

I was asking because I wanted to possibly save the $ since the kit isn’t required. I prefer filling the drawer...limits water damage in the event if a leak.
