I've used steel braided hoses for decades without any leaks or breakage. I didn't like the old LG with the tray for the steam cycle, You have to remember to remove the tray to empty any water left over. If you forget, the water goes bad overtime, and stinks. I prefer water on demand with the updated system. The hoses are easy to install, and use the steam function.

Or, do what we do and turn off the water at the source after every wash/dry sequence, or before going to bed!
