• When you purchase a new appliance, ie. washer and dryer, Best Buy recommends you purchase a new vent kit and cord for install to be guaranteed. To be safe, I would suggest purchasing a new cord.

• It is best to use a new cord, you don't know how much wear and tear is on your old cord. It may damage your new product.

• if you don't use the one they have will proably tell you that your warranty will be no good
