You need an electrician to install a range receptacle at the wall where the cable exits. The cable they install on the range can then be connected to the receptacle.

That means it is hardwired. You need an electrician to install a proper receptacle. Whoever installed it originally did not do it correctly .

If you live in the US then you need to get a licensed, insured electrician to remedy this issue. This is VERY serious! Your house could be at risk of fire and it is also a total violation of the National Electrical Code.(NEC)
