• You need an electrician to install a range receptacle at the wall where the cable exits. The cable they install on the range can then be connected to the receptacle.

• That means it is hardwired. You need an electrician to install a proper receptacle. Whoever installed it originally did not do it correctly .

• If you live in the US then you need to get a licensed, insured electrician to remedy this issue. This is VERY serious! Your house could be at risk of fire and it is also a total violation of the National Electrical Code.(NEC)
