• I have great faith in Best Buy that they are well-informed and they know exactly what you need for the product you have purchased. This year I have purchased a stove, a refrigerator, two washing machines and a dryer. Everything was installed and works perfectly. I hope you have confidence in your purchase and their knowledge.

• Maybe? Depends on your currently installed stove outlet. Some are three prong, some are four prong. Some are 40 AMP and some are 50 AMP. Generic cord should be fine as long it fits your outlet. Both 3 prong and 4 prong cords come in either 40 or 50 AMPS.
