“just had a new Samsung range delivered and does not sit flush against the wall like my old range did. It looks like the cord is getting in the way between the back of the range and the wall. Are there shorter cords or should floor outlet be moved to wall”

A wall outlet would solve the problem! or, try a 3 foot cord!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have the same issue with our new stove, but it's not the fault of the cord. The technician said that most current stoves don't have as much ground clearance as older models. That may be the same problem you have.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You must be in an old home. Outlets shouldnt be on the floor because of flood or spill hazard. I would suggest moving the outlet to the wall at about the same height as the dial section of your range. Coil it up, and use metal zip ties to keep it nice and neat against the wall.
