Range circuit is 40 amp minimum, requiring 8 AWG wire. The plug/outlet prong configuration depends on your local grounding code. What does the old range have? Use that, but with a new cord. Don't forget to upgrade your circuit breaker, if necessary. (Some older houses had a 30 amp range circuit, with matching CB.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Three prong outlet. 12/2 wire and a 220 stove outlet. That will get the job done. Bare copper is ground and the black and white are neutral and hot. Just be careful when installing. Best to have an electrician install it though. That way of something happened your insurance company should cover it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.220 is required for Stove
