Cord is not color coded which is red or black ? null

Chuck means which is hot, neutral and ground. In the case of 3 prong range cords, The real answer is, these ranges dont have neutral on 3 prongs. the middle wire is the ground. the other 2 are interchangable since both are hot wires. wire the middle one first, then wire the other two to either remaining available spots to wire it to. Once all 3 is wired, you are good to go.

The Smart Choice cord is heavy duty and black.

The Smart Choice card is black. and with it being 6' long it gives you room to pull the Whirlpool Range out and clean down the sides and under it when needed.
