The refrigerator should come with the plastic hookup or at least if you have them install mine always has. I chose to get the stainless so I won't have to change it in 4-5years. The stainless should last forever. I hope this helps.

yes you need to purchase a waterline kit; however you can purchase these at any home improvement store you dont necessarily need to get it from best buy however it is convenient

they make you buy one - we did not need it and the delivery guys are not allowed to touch a copper water line
