It would depend on where your water line comes out of the wall. I wouldn’t try to bend the copper line coming out of the fridge or it will kink. If you need to bend the line I would get a hose to attach the two.

I wound up cutting the coil back to 2' sticking out of the floor and used the kit with the couplings. The coil was so you could move the refrigerator out and back if you needed to. I suppose you could use the copper coil but the hook-up on the fridge is a flexible plastic hose so I used the kit it was easier.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Geek Squad guys removed my old copper line & installed a new fexible stainless steel hose. The hose is quite long but if you need more length I'm sure they will accommodate to the length needed.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My opinion is probably not. We purchased the 6'kit when we bought the appliance & install online, but it was useless. Our relative actually quickly went to the local hardware store to buy the correct kit (such as you described, the skinny copper tube). Then the Best Buy contracted installers finished it. You may need to double-check that you have end-connectors? Good luck.
