• I will make the assumption that yes it does. I'm using the Google Mesh wifi routers and they don't give you a choice between 2.4 and 5. It is automatic based on what it perceives as its signal strength to the device. Since the bulbs I'm using are in the same room as the Google wifi puck, I believe they are working on the 5ghz band. Hope that helps
