• The Geek Squad team member installed the app on my cellphone since I had the basic Nest Thermostat. He told me if it was a Learning Nest Thermostat that it would run on the Nest app. I would consult Geek Squad.

• Go to your Google Play Store or App Store (iOS) and search for Nest or Google Home. The app needed will depend on which thermostat you are installing.
