No, not compatible out of box. iPod Classic does not have Bluetooth. And Amps Air does not have a 3.5mm jack.There exist 30-pin Bluetooth adapters designed to add wireless functionality to an iPod Classic, but I can't vouch for the effectiveness of such a solution having never used one. So *possibly* compatible using a 3rd party accessory is perhaps the correct answer.
