“Is there any way to extend the cord ? I already bought the solar panel but need an extra 2 feet. The specifications only say that it's a micro-USB cord but I need more detail before I purchase additional panels for other cameras. Thanks.”

I don't think so. The cord is hardwired into the panel and I don't know of any way to extend it at the micro-USB connector.
