“Does it need to be in 100% direct sunlight to work? Where I would mount it it would be somewhat shaded”

• I have two installed which are both in partial shade during different parts of the day. They continue to keep the batteries in both cameras fully charged. Both are facing South and are at a 30 degree angle.

• It has to be direct sun an in Florida has to be facing south, the instruccion are very clear, I have 3 and they work perfectly

• My solar panel only gets about 2-3 hours of sunlight each day, and my battery still increases by 5% or more each day. So you should be good.
