yes. Didn't have any problems going through airport security.

Please try again later.My laptop is 151/2 inches and fits in this case without any problem.There is plenty of room in the case for additional materials (reports, pencils, etc). I find it is easy to take to meetings as well as on a plane ride as it fits perfectly on the pull down tray table. I have received many compliments on how professional it looks.
